The control is unbelievable. Love this paddle

I have played with the double black diamond 16mm and also the elongated db 15mm, I do really like the elongated but find in doubles it’s a little slower at kitchen line, so I will use it for singles. I tried this paddle(black power 14mm) and love tue feel I get from it, yes I still need to work on the soft game with it but at this point it’s doing everything I was looking for.

It is very good paddle, the power, control and spin are all great. But the width is not enough for me. I should buy the 16mm paddle.

I'm still developing my game but it's clear after using this paddle for a few weeks that it is far better suited for people who want to jump to the next level. Spin is great and it has far more power than the Costco intro paddle it's replacing. Looking forward to building my skills with the DBD.

Great paddle if your getting into the game and want something that works for spin and control

I played a Double Black Diamond for a year and a half. I upgraded to a Ruby 14mm and I love it. I think they did something to the surface grit in the newer versions because it really grabs. Friends who have older Ruby's have a smoother surface. Whatever SixZero did - it;s awesome.

I've had my new DBBC now for about 1 month. I'm still getting used to the extra pop in this paddle. My dinks are landing out of bounds 50 percent of the time. My club pro has suggested that I hold the paddle even looser when I'm dinking. It seems to be working, or I'm finally getting used to the paddle. I absolutely love the spin rate I'm getting and the velocity of my serves is so much greater than before which means I'm making my opponents miss much more which is a good thing. I love the longer handle for my two handed backhand shots down the line. My prediction is that in another month I will have mastered this paddle, I just need to be patient.

I decided to purchase a Ruby at the end of the year as I was looking for more spin, control, and effortless power. I was amazed how quickly my game improved to the next level using the Ruby right out of the box. I prefer the higher swing weight and love the feel of the Kevlar texture. It has improved all aspects of my game including serves, resets, dinking, drops and put aways. I used code "Wilkinson10" to save 10% (feel free to use as well). The price is well worth what you gain and much less than the Joola, Selkirk, Proton, etc. paddles that don't perform at the same level. Go next level with the Ruby!

I spent twenty years traveling around the country playing volleyball teams (6 players) by myself and used that platform to share a drug-free motivational message. Whoever controls the ball wins the game right? I'm relatively new to the game of pickleball and enjoy learning the game. I've played with my new 6.0 about a week and never expected that a paddle could make that much different. It is definitely NEXT LEVEL stuff for both power and control! I'm ready to TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL!!

I received my new paddle Friday and I was able to play with it today. I think it lacks a bit of power but not enough to worry about. But wow I was able to get balls at the net so much more easily. It was amazing. I am really going to like it. Give me a week or two and I will be more used to it. I was unsure of how I would like the shape ( I have being playing with an elongated paddle) The hybrid shape is great. I had no issues with it.

All in all I am happy.

Try it out, I did and won’t say I would ever regret it. More secured the notion that the ruby is my preferred paddle

I use Six Zero edge guard tape on all my paddles. It has saved my edges many times. It is easy to apply and thick enough to offer protection from outdoor court scrapes. And, it looks great.

This is the best all-court paddle I have ever used. From the moment I started playing with it, my soft game improved significantly, yet, I was still able to put away balls with power. I love this paddle and recommend it often.
