Received this paddle 2 weeks ago and I love it!!! It has a lovely sweet spot and has the power and control when needed.
Highly recommend this paddle
It is a great control paddle, overall suitable to my style. Highly recommended to players who master various shots.
J'ai tellement aimé que je l'ai remplacé par la même.
Started with a Ruby 6.0 and this is my 2nd black 6.0. Able to adjust speed and also spin as a 2.5 DUPR player. Have 2 paddles as I keep one as a backup.
I have finally found my ideal bag. Yes , it’s big but so roomy and I can put my things in with ease . I like that my PB stuff is so accessible compared to my other bags. Hopefully , this will be my last PB bag.
I been using Black Opal for 1 month already.
Very powerful with minimal effort for drive the bal lback.
Shock absorbing on this paddle is no joke, whatever ball drive towards me, can return back without my elbow, arm feeling any vibration.
The surface of this paddle is very gritty, u can spin the ball without any issue.
The only down side, it is the small sweet spot, need to learn how tweak the gameplay to match the paddle output.
Anyways, it definitely improved my gameplay as a whole.
Amazing raquet! True successor to the DBD.
Only downside was Six zero shipping. I had free shipping with my order but paid to upgrade to fast shipping. They still sent it standard and it took the normal time. Avoid that rip off.
Great all rounder paddle option. Very consistent in offence and counter attacks. Short adjustment period and absorbs drives and aggressive battles at the net. Great colour options, copped the ocean blue option. Sleeper paddle of the year
I had been playing with 14mm Ruby's and lately with DBD because it had more pop. Ordered the Coral Hybrid. Immediately, felt the ball jumping off the paddle. I'm hitting the ball so hard opponents struggling to handle my shots.
Played my first tournament with it this weekend, took silver in Men's doubles and silver in mixed doubles.
No break in period needed to feel comfortable. Big sweet spot, good power and pop. Still working on controlling deep blocks of power shots.
Let me start with I am an advanced player and I own a Ruby Pro, Black Opal and Coral. I have been playing some iteration of a Double Black Diamond for over a year. Let me say that if you like the Double Black Diamond you will LOVE the Coral. The Coral has the same play characteristics but with more (controllable) power and better feel. One more point...the Coral has made me a better Black Opal player.
I'm a pickleball coach and a 5.0 player. I've been playing BDB and Ruby paddles for the past 2+ yrs. I play tested a variety of gen 3 and gen 4 full foam paddles over the past months....and found them all to be difficult to control and inconsistent in the response off the paddle face. And they sounded horrible and hollow.
Then came the Coral. So much of the fantastic feel and performance that I was used to, but with significant upgrades in power and spin. Sounds and looks great too (I got the blue one). And like all the Six Zero paddles the build quality is the best in the industry.
I enjoyed it somewhat, but ultimately went back to ol' faithful. Just not the same feel and responsiveness for me as the 16mm DBD.
So, I was not expecting CORAL to be my "paddle of choice." I was 90% RUBY and 10% played with my Black Diamond. CORAL came in and now I am 100% enjoying it-it's playful! Responsive without being too powerful (kind of a plush power), it has good texture for spin, the touch is perfect and I am definitely playing better with it. AND -It's pretty! I got the blue as I like matching outfits to my paddles.
Reluctantly and excitedly I purchased the new Coral after winning silver in the World Pickleball Championships with my trusted Ruby. The Coral has better pop, and much better feel for drops and dinks. My power can be dialed down with the Coral. I also have to adjust my topspin drives to allow for greater spin with the Coral.. I’m a believer for now on the Coral.
The ‘Opal’ has outstanding maneuverability and responsiveness. I noticed a remarkable improvement in my shots’ accuracy and spin, giving me an edge over opponents during intense matches. My hands battle also fast. Additionally, the paddle’s durability is commendable, as it has withstood rigorous use without showing any signs of wear and tear. This longevity ensures that the paddle remains reliable and consistent, making it a wise investment for serious pickleball enthusiasts. It’s the best price on the market for the quality after using referral. I like this paddle so much I bought another one as a backu.
I got mine last week and love it!! I definitely have faster hands and less miss hits. I’m killing it with the new Coral. Thank you Six Zero Pickleball. I have owned the DBD and Ruby and this one is super charged!!
This paddle plays like the DBD, with more spin, power and control. Very little break in period.
I moved to this paddle from a Joola Perseus. It’s more consistent with basically all shots than the year-old Perseus was. Part of the reason I upgraded was for the promise of more durable face. Great control right now and I’m hoping the diamond face will hold up longer than the face of the Perseus did. After a year of play, that one was too smooth and wouldn’t impart spin consistently.
