I have big hands, which have unfortunately gotten arthritic. I use two layers of overgrip and it helps me keep control of the paddle without using excessive grip strength.
This newer version of the 6.0 overgrip seems a bit thinner than the last batch that I brought, but it is also tackier. I like it.

I had tried a bunch of foam paddles including the black opal, j2nf and boomstick but none made me want to leave my Joola Perseus 4.
I absolutely love this paddle. While it doesn’t have the top fire power of the loco, it has heaps of power when you swing hard. The control and feel are excellent and on point. I haven’t weighted it yet but could easily play with it stock without yearning for more power or control.
I’ve let others try it out and they each are placing orders. It is the true successor to the dbd.
