Great all around paddle.
If you are looking for a well rounded and versatile paddle, this one will hit the spot (maybe a little pun intended).
It's very forgiving. Not too much POP or grip. Too much POP can help when serving, driving or speed up at the net, but can also hurt your finesse shots or your control of ball direction.
Too much grip is great for generating spin, but can also hurt your return of high-spin shots, because if you can't overpower the spin during your return, too much grip will not absorb enough of the receiving/exiting spin of the ball and, it will be very hard to control direction and angle of your return.
Before buying this paddle i had used a lot of different more expensive paddles at our centre , my wife and i absolutely love the 6.0 Quartz , it certainly doesn't look, feel or react like a beginner paddle.
You can generate great spin and power , we couldnt be happier , just hope it lasts the distance .
I also fitted the extra ultra tacky grip that is a great help .
I was amaze how I deal with this paddle, at first I still learning to figure out my serve with control, but after how many games I used to serve with confident. Also my shots has a spin than on my old paddle. Such a beginner friendly paddle. Thanks Six Zero.
Definitely the paddle to go as a beginner. Highly recommended.
This is doing all I expected from this paddle & do not regard it as a beginner paddle. I have been playing now for 7 years with others & am just hoping that this one doesn't fall apart as they have done...fingers crossed.
